Becoming parents was supposed to be filled with excitement. Shortly after our first son was born, we found ourselves living a nightmare. At only two months old, we found out our tiny boy needed open heart surgery. He had it one month later, and all I wanted was to take his place.

Those days in the hospital changed everything. His recovery made us hyper-aware of every little thing that touched his skin. We wanted to keep him clean, safe, and comfortable in ways we had never thought about before.

The idea didn’t fully come together until about a year later, after our son had fully healed. Our boy was eating spaghetti when it clicked, nothing on the market could wash and rinse without a sink.

That’s when the seed of Bubbez was planted.
